Our History

The Adeo Group was formed in 2004 to provide graphic design services, though we quickly recognised the potential of conversion-focused web design combined with ethical, carefully honed internet marketing strategies to deliver success. We also believed that this success could only be achieved if clients felt completely supported by their digital agency – a company with the human touch, a company like us.

Since then, we’ve never stood still. In fact, with offices now in Glasgow, London, Newcastle and Dubai, we just seem to keep growing and growing!

Our team of talented professionals includes designers, developers and marketers with many years of experience in creating and implementing solutions in a rapidly changing online landscape for clients in industries as varied as retail, recruitment, telecommunications, health and leisure.

2004

Adeo setup as a partnership

Set up working from a cold room in a house in Cardonald, offering design for print services and Flash websites.
2007

Search Engine Strategies

Attended SES Conference in New York which shaped the future of the company; our main focus and direction moved from print to digital.
2008

Focused on Websites & eCommerce Solutions

Adeo Scotland was set up as a limited company. Still offering print and graphic design as a service, we recognised the growing demand for all things digital so we put more drive into online services.

2009

Redback – Version 1

We launched the very first version of our continuously evolving custom CMS system: Redback. This marked the beginning of creating bespoke websites for our clients - not just bespoke front-end websites, but we could also create bespoke back-end admin systems for our clients too.
2010

Moved to Sauchiehall Street Office

With our custom CMS, we gained so much interest that we set up a central office in the heart of Glasgow, making it easier for our clients to come in and see us.
2011

London Office Opened

There became apparent demand for us to open an office in London to cater for our clients south of the border. We continue to do a lot of business from the UK's capital and this base has continued to open up a lot of new opportunities for us.
2012

Redback – Version 2

As our clients needs evolved, so did our CMS. From working together with our clients, and forming really good working relations, we responded to their requests and feedback to develop Redback into a better tool for them to use.
2013

Moved to Newton Terrace

As we expanded, we felt it was time for a more comfortable setting for ourselves and for our clients to come and visit. So we decided to treat ourselves and relocate Head Office to a more swanky part of town.
2015

Dubai Office Opened

Dubai Office Opened
We recognised a need for opening up an office in Dubai, so in December 2015 we did just that, it helped us cater for our growing clientele in the Middle East. This made things easier for our clients based in the region as they no longer had to consider the time difference, and could have a face to face point of contact that showed our commitment to doing business in the Middle East.

Redback Lite

We wanted to create something for the forgotten market, so we created Redback Lite, an option for SME, SOHO business to get online with a CMS that works, whatever their budget. This option has proven to be a successful and popular solution that fills the gap to cater for start-up clients with limited budget over their bigger competitors, and we've been really proud to see many businesses grow using it.
2016

Moved to Oxford Street

Yet again, we started to out-grow our lovely Head Office, so we needed to find a bigger premises! We moved over to our hip new Oxford Street Head Office, where there's plenty of room for us to geek out on our many monitors, and twirl about in our chairs without kicking anybody.

Sociable Selling

We launched our sociable selling division, with ever increasing ways to communicate to your customers through social channels and to help clients develop a proper social strategy that drives sales, generates leads or engage with customers to raise their brand awareness.

Plan // Create // Generate

Launching our new DNA of Plan, Create, Generate - looking at taking businesses from any point to where their goals and aspirations are, we have created 3 distinct divisions to help client’s businesses at every angle to succeed online and beyond.
