Scottish Design Awards 2013
Scottish Design Awards 2013.
Adeo Group has recently moved offices and is now located at Berkeley House, 5 Newton Terrace, Glasgow, G3 7PJ. The workplace is set in a B-listed classical terrace built in 1864. It has recently been awarded a commendation for the best ‘Re-Use of a Listed Building’ at the Scottish Design Awards 2013. The Adeo Group would like to congratulate the architectural partnership of Gras Studio and especially the talent of Gunnar Groves-Raines and Stuart Falconer; both award winning architects and the owners of the Gras Studio.
Previously the building suffered from a range of variations and lost many of its original features. The architects of Gras Studio redeveloped the building and helped to retain and enhance the original features of the classic Scottish design. The judging panel of Scottish Design Awards 2013 was looking for innovative pieces of work, a new approach to design and a concept that stands out from the crowd.
The newly re-designed Berkeley house met the criteria and was awarded for the excellence in the sphere of conservation, restoration and adaptive re-use of a listed building.
Adeo Group is sharing premises with the award winning Berkley Clinic team. World class clinic, seminar facilities and office accommodation are created in the principle rooms on the upper floors while staff accommodation and parking is provided at lower ground level.
