Your Social Media Calendar: July 2016

Another month has passed by, so that means it’s time for us to share another social media calendar, this time for July.

If you haven’t read one of our social media calendar blog posts before, they are designed to give you inspiration for your businesses’s social media posts for the coming month.

From our experience supporting businesses’ internet marketing strategies we know that social media isn’t often sitting at the top of the list of priorities, with some entrepreneurs leaving only 15 minutes or so a week to social media marketing, or signing in to post as and when they can.

If your business doesn’t have the budget to hire someone to run your social media channels, the challenge may fall to you. If this sounds familiar you too have probably faced the dilemma of what to post. And whist it may seem straightforward it can be challenging to think up of something every day (other than a simple link to your website), especially if you only have 15 minutes to spare in the morning, or are on the go.

SOCIAL MEDIA POST IDEAS FOR SMALL BUSINESSES: JULY 2016

One way to get some content for your social media, and to break up the promotional posts is to take advantage of holidays and awareness days. By incorporating these into your social media you can help keep your posts current, and as many often have their own associated hashtags, they can also be a great way to drive exposure and engagement to your channels. If you have a bit more time (or are a bit clever) you may even be able to link national events to your company, products or services.

By including these events into your feed you will keep your social media current (even if you schedule it!)
